Once you're registered you're listed at a vårdcentral (health centre): choose one at 1177.se, or you're listed automatically at the one nearest your address. A doctor's visit at your own vårdcentral costs SEK 200, and fees are capped at SEK 1,450 per 12 months.

Yes. Through public care, ask your vårdcentral for a referral to its psychologist or counsellor (SEK 50 a visit). Privately, the therapists listed below work in English; costs and waiting times vary, so ask before booking.
Urgent care is always available, but fees depend on your status: EU/EEA citizens can use the European Health Insurance Card for necessary care, while others may be charged the full cost until they are registered. Ask the clinic when you book.
